Awal pagi

7.15 pagi, Jumaat, 18 Rabiulakhir 1429h

Usaha (dah) + doa (dah) + tawakal (dah) = kejayaan (belum tentu)

and the winner is...

Today marked the end of our Technical Writing course. As Mr AAL promise, the winner of the best blog is announced. The winner : Diana. Congratulations!! Me myself really surprised when the class are told that she managed to post about 100++ posting for the past 3-4 months. Quite a lot. Really use her freetime to write.

Personally I feel very proud even "Garden of paradise" did not win. Mr AAL statement that my blog is one of the best is enough. He admit the originality of my writing, the best sentence that I heard for this day.

I like to write, express my feeling and at the same time made people think. Writing plays important role to influence people. Good writing come from knowledge that been train by reading. As I mentioned before I enjoy reading Faisal Tehrani's books. Maybe some of his writing skills are copied by me in order to train myself to be a good writer.

At this moment, I'm reading his novel, 1511H(Kombat) which won the Hadiah Sastera Kumpulan Utusan 2003.(Kekasih Sam Po Bo and Bila Tuhan Berbicara still in the wrap). Still left another four chapter till the end.

Manifesto

After the presentation on 30 March at Pusat Ilmu, Mr Azmi said that on this Thursday he will announce the winner of the best blog. I wonder who will win it and at the same time I'm wondering what will I do with the money if I win?

RM 50....Hmmmm, quite a lot.
The best thing that came to my mind is to spend the money by buying something that can be shared by the whole class. Ice-cream@sweets@breakfast. Simple calculation-31 students + Mr AAL = 32. RM50/32=RM1.60. So everyone will get something that worth about RM1.60. What do you think Mr AAL? This is my promise IF you give me the money.
But most important, friendship can't be bought. It is priceless.

Ahhh......

For quite some time I'm not writing. Assignments, examination and university prorammes made me busy. That's how student's life should be. Have you ever heard about the name Faisal Tehrani? Who bother to know. He is not a politician, not an actor nor an athlete. But he is one of my favourite author in novel and short stories genres. He have wrote many novels and win a lot of awards locally and internationally. His writings is not focusing on some issues like other writers. People may think about love stories when we say about Ahadiat Akasha or Ramlee Awang Mursyid-thriller genres. Faisal Tehrani has some virtual and forward thinking when he write. He also managed to recreate current issues that happened around us into a nice stories.

His latest book that I bought was 'Kekasih Sam Po Bo' which is a collection of thirty Faisal Tehrani's short stories (cerpen) and another one is 'Bila Tuhan Berbicara'. Clear idea, nice plots and some jokes really freshen your mind. It made you think, not only read. So I suggest for those who want to improve their language, these books are great references. I do enjoy reading them.

Fantastic weekend

This weekend is so special. I was asked by harun (acting team manager) to represent his futsal team, Wembley A We are playing the Piala Pengetua Tun Syed Nasir tournament. My position? The position most of us hate to be : the goalkeeper.....
At the group stage, we managed to win one game and lost one but that is enough to bring us to the round of 16. But then we are disapointed by the Fifa Manager Team by 2 -1. Who do you think to be blame for the loses. Me? No.. Actually nobody. All the member played very hard but luck was not at our side.

Like old people say : bola itu bulat.

Sabar jelah..

Arghh......
Like usual, my test yasterday didn't going well as I imagine. Eventhough all the lecture notes I have been gone through but then all the important point are erased from my memory. After a moment of depression I think that is normal, this will be the part of the memory as an university student.

Meaningful Song...

LAST BREATH
Courtesy of Bukhatir.org

From those around I hear a Cry,
A muffled sob, a Hopeless sigh,
I hear their footsteps leaving slow,
And then I know my soul must Fly!

A chilly wind begins to blow,
Within my soul, from Head to Toe,
And then, Last Breath escapes my lips,
It's Time to leave. And I must Go!

So, it is True (But it's too Late)
They said: Each soul has its Given Date,
When it must leave its body's core,
And meet with its Eternal Fate.

Oh mark the words that I do say,
Who knows? Tomorrow could be your Day,
At last, it comes to Heaven or Hell
Decide which now, Do NOT delay!
Come on my brothers let us pray
Decide which now, Do NOT delay!

Oh God! Oh God! I cannot see!
My eyes are Blind! Am I still Me
Or has my soul been led astray,
And forced to pay a Priceless Fee

Alas to Dust we all return,
Some shall rejoice, while others burn,

If only I knew that before
The line grew short, and came my Turn!

And now, as beneath the sod
They lay me (with my record flawed),
They cry, not knowing I cry worse,
For, they go home, I face my God!

Oh mark the words that I do say,
Who knows, Tomorrow could be your Day,
At last, it comes to Heaven or Hell
Decide which now, Do NOT delay !
Come on my brothers let's pray
Decide which now, do not delay ....

This coming thursday, another test will be held - Hydraulic.
Come on! Keep revising the book.

Busy day

Date : 17 January 2008
Day : Thursday

Time : 9.00 - 9.50 am
First class for today, UMB 1042. En Azmi asked us to sit in our group. Suddenly something unexpected happen. Azmir is leaving my group to joined the girls group which is the team member are muaz, hazeema, hafiza, roslina, suriyana and kak ina. Everybody was questioning therirself. What happen? Some made speculation that I am the one responsible as they said I scolded Azmir. The others said said Azmir is not satisfied with the team member and so on but in the reality all the rumours are not true. For myself I didn't feel anything. Everybody has their own right to make their own decision. We are not kids!! Don't blame Azmir, me or anybody. For my team member, we have a task to do. En Azmi want the first draft of our proposal this Monday (21 Jan). Do yoor work!!!!

Time : 10.00 - 11.50 am
Need to walk to Bilik Kuliah B4 at the new block behind. It's ok, that is my routine. It is now the turn for En Kamil Khalid to give lecturer on engineering statistic. He was so exciting to lecture untill he didn't realize that the time is 12++. Students start to making sounds in hope that he will stop the class. Only then he made an apologize as he think his lecturer is until 1.00.

Time : 2.00 - 4.00 pm
Mechanics of Engineering. New lecturer for today. The previous lecturer, En Bambang @ Pak Bambang told us he is a retired Professor that continue his contract as an academic staff at UTHM. The moment of truth, he comes on time while some of the students still not arrived (especially the boys, what a shame). For the first hour he give his lecturer fully in English untill some of the students (that can't understand) start to feel sleepy. The situation is different in the second hour. After about 10 minutes break, he started to tell about himself. He said that previously he was the Dean of Technology Management, town campus. He also mentioned that he among the pioners of PLSP, Ittho, Kuittho and now UTHM. In my mind this person is not an ordinary man. I realized that for this moment, he is the only lecturers come into class with only three "tools", blue, black and red marker pen. No laptops, no handouts, nothing. It seems that all the subject modul is in his brain. Salute to this man, Prof Ismail Hasan.

Time : 4.00 - 6.00 pm
Last class, Hydraulics. After our "hard disk" is about to full with calculations and formulas from the previous two classes yet another subject took place. Tn Hj Ismail Ibrahim shown us how to derive an equation that for some time, I don't understand but the effort of Tn Hj to make sure all the students understand by keep repeting, are much appreciated.

What a day! Busy and tired yet after that still have some extra energy to play football at the field.

Lets us pray

Let me begin this post by asked all the readers to recite Al-Fatihah.....

In the recent news, we are again strucked by a shocking news of another missing girl . After nations still sad and mad regarding the case of Nurin Jazlin Jazimin, this time a five years old pity girl, Sharlinie Mohd Nashar is missing expected to be kidnapped by somebody. What happened to the society today? A question that cannot be answered just by words.

We can't never know the exact reason why this kind of cases continue to happen even our goverment has took multiple method at least to decrease the risk of it's reoccurance. Physical prevention method is not the main business here. It's only can least the scope of investigation. The most important things to do is to treat our society as nowadays we are living with THE SICK PEOPLE. It is not an ordinary illness, it is about the inner spiritual strength (socially illness) that cannot be research by the experts or specialist doctors. Only some people can give the prescrisption which these groups are called the ULAMA (Islamic Scholars).

ULAMA (علماء, transliteration : ‘Ulamā’, singular: عالِم, transliteration: ‘Ālim, "scholar") (Enlighten people of Islamic Knowledge and Disciplines) refers to the educated class of Muslim legal scholars engaged in the several fields of Islamic studies.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulema

They are the best reference on how to treat these sick peoples. They always advice us about solat (prayers). Some of them said it is the relevant medicine to all humans. What is the specialty of solat? Let's us check in the Quran surah Al-'Ankabut (The Spider) which ALLAH SWT said :

"29:45 Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to thee, and establish regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that ye do."

Still didn't notified?

establish regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds

It is clear that Allah asked all the humans to perform the prayers as it is a restrains for us from doing something bad and immorally. How many peoples nowadays really care about their prayers? That is why peoples are sick innerly as they did not taken this medicine everyday. Imagine that we got high fever, we see the doctor and they prescribed us with some medicines. Several instructions are given on how to take, when to take and how many to take. If the instruction are not followed the chance to get well may took times. It is an analogy for the prayers. Allah instructed us to pray five times a day with a specific time and specific rakaat. This is Allah's prescribtion for us to treat our inner spiritual strength.

I always believe that Quran is the best guide taht can lead us to walk along the straight path while travelling in this world. If peoples manage to translate Quran into their daily life, Insyaallah all the SICK PEOPLE will get healthy.

Lastly, lets us pray so that our family especially our younger sister are protected from these SICK PEOPLE. Not only kidnapers, we also want all socially illness are vanished from our beloved country.
